The film, a remake of the 2016 Tamil blockbuster “Theri” directed by Atlee, follows a familiar template – a man with a mysterious past seeks revenge while navigating father-daughter dynamics.
Varun Dhawan, in the lead role, anchors the film with his charismatic screen presence. He effortlessly transitions between the jovial, everyday John and the brooding, avenging Satya. Keerthy Suresh, as his on-screen wife, provides a strong counterpoint, adding depth and emotional resonance to the narrative.
